Most important: Nanalu is informational and helps you organise your pregnancy. It does not diagnose, does not prescribe treatment and does not replace antenatal care. If you notice any warning sign, contact your care team, your birth place or your local emergency number.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to the Nanalu app and the nanalu.app website, offered by MedUnity (MEDUNITY LTDA - ME, CNPJ 59.158.563/0001-55, R 63 S/N, Quadra 65, Etn Itaguaí, Caldas Novas/GO, CEP 75682-106, Brazil). By creating an account, you agree to them and to the privacy policy. Nanalu is for people aged 18 or over.
2. What Nanalu offers
- Week-by-week pregnancy tracking, with the baby’s approximate size and educational information.
- A baby list with suggested quantities that you can adjust.
- Tasks, calendar, reminders and notes.
- Warning signs and a shortcut to emergency services.
3. Health content
Nanalu’s content is based on official sources and is reviewed by the responsible physician, Dr. Wilson Nunes Neto (CRM-SP 263817, Brazil). Outside Brazil, it follows World Health Organization guidance and is being adapted country by country; vaccines, tests and schedules vary, so always check with your care team.
Sizes, weights and weeks are averages and estimates. Every pregnancy is unique: your ultrasound and your care team tell you how yours is going. Baby list quantities are suggestions, not purchase recommendations.
4. Personal use
Nanalu is for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, resell or use Nanalu’s content, illustrations or brand without permission, or try to access parts of the app improperly.
5. Your account and your data
To use Nanalu you create an account with your email. You sign in with a code sent to that email, so keep your email secure: anyone with access to it can sign in to your account. Use an account that is only yours.
What you record stays on your phone and in a copy in your account, as explained in the privacy policy. You can export your data and delete your account at any time in the app. Deleting the account removes the data permanently: after that, MedUnity cannot recover it.
We may suspend or close accounts used for abuse, fraud or attempts to access other people’s data.
6. Price
At launch, Nanalu is free and has no ads. If paid features ever come, they will be presented in advance with a clear price and conditions, and buying them will be your choice.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the app running well, but it may have faults or be unavailable. Reminders depend on your phone’s settings and battery saving and may be a few minutes late. We may update the app and these terms; important changes will be announced.
8. Liability
Nanalu is not responsible for health decisions made only on the basis of the app, without a professional’s advice. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
9. Intellectual property
The Nanalu brand, the character Lu, the illustrations and the texts belong to MedUnity or are used with permission. The cited sources belong to their authors.
10. Law
These terms are governed by Brazilian law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
